The online application for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2020 edition will begin today and continue till July 22. Candidates (Indian citizens and overseas citizens of India) with primary medical qualification from any medical institute outside India and seeking provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI ) or State Medical Councils within India can apply online and take the exam.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) that conducts the screening test of FMGE is scheduled to conduct the exam on August 31, 2020 in the online mode at various test centres across India.
The FMGE results will be declared on September 20, 2020, as per an NBE official statement.
The FMGE is held in June and December every year. Owing to the countrywide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19, the FMGE June 2020 exam was earlier postponed. The screening test of FMGE is held as a multiple-choice based test. There is no negative marking in the screening test.
